The Role
In this UX Lead role, you will be responsible for guiding and overseeing technical aspects of packaging design and other projects. You will also be responsible for leading the development of technical instruction manuals, drawings and documentation for company products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design process, from concept to implementation, ensuring a seamless and delightful user experience across all product touchpoints
- Collaborate closely with product managers to define product requirements, user flows and design solutions that align with business goals and user needs.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis of user feedback to inform design decisions
- Advocate for the needs and preferences of users throughout the design process
- Establish and maintain design systems, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability
- Lead the development of technical instruction manuals, drawings and documentation for company products
- Collaborate with Marketing, Engineering, Sales, and Operations departments
- Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to with an emphasis on internal controls and a safe workplace
- Participate in continuous improvement projects
Skills and experience
- Bachelor's degree in the field of Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or Visual Communication
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Experience working in agile environments and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to diverse audiences
