The Role
The Associate Software Engineer is responsible for providing day to day support to production to allow manufacturing targets to be met. You will also be responsible for developing, debugging, supporting and testing software systems.
- Develop and test software applications (mostly using Python) for production
- Integrated software testing, debugging and troubleshooting test systems
- Organise unit, regression, validation, stress and performance testing for new test systems
- Create automation scripts using Python, batch, bash, and SQL for production systems
- Create database, reports, and analytics for production systems
- Prepare software documentations and bug reports
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering/ computer science / IT engineering
- Ability to understand and write code using programming languages (Python or C/C++)
- Ability to test, debug and troubleshoot software applications
- Ability to understand basic Object-Oriented Programming
- Logical problem-solving abilities
- Basic experience in using GIT, SQL, and Linux
- Ability to work in a team, good organisational skills
- Ability to understand requirements and understand basic SDLC
