About the Company

As an experienced Production Engineer, you will be contributing to the establishment and improvement of lean assembly and manufacturing processes for a range of technically complex products (both medical and non-medical devices), ensuring compliance with ISO 3485. You will provide manufacturing support for products, ensuring quality and delivery targets are achieved. You will use your skills and experience to investigate root cause analyses of issues and bring about effective solutions. You will play a significant role in the audit, qualification and management of suppliers, be able to effectively develop and report on improvement plans, key metrics, design reviews, risk assessments and produce other engineering documentation such as PFMEA, BOMs and SOPs. In this role, you will also develop and nurture effective relationships with a broad range of people such as design engineers, product managers, assembly technicians and clients. You will also get involved in coaching and leading other members of the team to promote their professional growth and development.
Skills and experience
With 5-8 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, ideally in an electrical/electronics environment you will have:
* knowledge of lean assembly and manufacturing techniques
* experience of compliance procedures and international quality standards, including ISO13485, ISO9001 or experience in a regulated industry
* Bachelor's Degree in engineering (e.g. Mechanical; Electronics)
* Good report writing, communication and analytical skills
