Our client is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to join the UK based team as Director of Mergers & Acquisitions. This is a permanent, full-time role (part time considered) based in the UK or Europe, where you will have the opportunity to shape and drive business development activities in EMEA and North America.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Sydney based CFO and with day-to-day operational connection to the VP - EMEA based in Dublin, you will play a vital role in defining and implementing the company's business development (BD) strategy to pursue opportunities aligned with their strategic growth agenda, including acquisitions and strategic partnerships:
- Develop BD strategy
- Research and identify targets and opportunities
- Negotiate and execute transactions
- Lead BD governance processes
- Some travel required
Skills and Experience
You will have operational experience and a proven track record as a C-suite executive, with over 10 years of experience and a strong background in the health/medical or device/bioscience industry. You will possess exceptional business acumen, financial literacy and a solid understanding of industry trends and financial statements. Additionally, extensive experience in managing M&A projects, negotiation, deal execution and financial modelling will be critical to your success in this role.

Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or tertiary degree in a business/commercial discipline or a scientific, engineering or clinical background
