CNC Machinists - Toolroom

We are searching across Australia and internationally for experienced and enthusiastic CNC Machinists to join a team in a high precision toolroom environment. Your contribution will cover a wide remit to include the manufacture of plastic injection moulds, composite 3D printed tooling, die-cast moulds, press tools, jigs and fixtures. The Role

In their world-class facility, your expertise as a CNC Machinist will be vital for:

  • Crafting predominantly complex precision injection mould tools and press tools
  • Programming and setting up of various CNC machines
  • Operating toolroom manual machines, EDM, and Wire EDM with proficiency
  • Collaborating, learning and mentoring with colleagues across the department

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience of CNC machining, ideally within a high precision toolroom environment
  • Exceptional programming and machining skills with a data-driven approach
  • Experience with 5-axis machining is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Automation and robotics experience is advantageous
  • Strong team player with a positive, can-do and open attitude to continual learning and self-development
  • Team communication skills
  • Ability to meet rigorous quality control standards
  • Proven success in achieving output targets
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques and principles
  • Autonomy in planning and organising daily tasks to meet company goals and deadlines
  • Effective time management and multitasking abilities, alongside excellent housekeeping skills
